Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to WordPress development, website care, SEO, design and related services provided by Boost WP. A written proposal or service agreement may add to or vary these terms.

Quotes, scope and approval

Quotes are based on the information available when prepared and remain valid for the period stated. Work outside the agreed scope will be discussed and may be quoted or charged separately. The client is responsible for checking and approving content, layouts and functionality.

Payment

Deposits, progress payments and final balances are due as stated in the proposal or invoice. Ongoing services are billed in advance unless agreed otherwise. Boost WP may pause work or services when an invoice is overdue.

Client content and access

The client will provide accurate content, instructions, approvals and access reasonably required to perform the work. The client confirms it has permission to use all supplied words, images, logos and other materials.

Timelines and changes

Estimated timelines depend on timely feedback, content and access. Significant delays or changes may require the schedule and price to be revised.

Ownership and licences

After full payment, the client owns the final custom website content and design work created specifically for the project. Boost WP retains ownership of reusable methods, tools and know-how. Third-party software, fonts, images, themes and plugins remain subject to their own licences.

Search engines

SEO work follows current good practice, but rankings, traffic and commercial outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Third-party services

Hosting, domains, plugins, payment systems, email platforms and other third-party services operate under their own terms. Boost WP is not responsible for outages, policy changes or failures outside its reasonable control.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boost WP is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from delays, interruptions, third-party systems or use of the services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited where permitted to re-performing the affected service or the reasonable cost of doing so.

Termination

Either party may end an ongoing service in writing. Outstanding balances remain payable. Unless otherwise agreed, ongoing services cease 30 days after cancellation and available ownership details or credentials are transferred once amounts due are paid.
